Thanksgiving Menu
Dear Friends of Blossom,
We are so excited to announce this year’s Thanksgiving menu! Once
again we will offer a delicious and decadent four course meal
featuring organic and seasonal ingredients. We love both the
excitement and the symbolism of offering a vegan feast each
Thanksgiving, and we would love to give thanks with you this year!

Thanksgiving Menu 2010

Kabocha Squash Soup
rich purée of sweet Japanese pumpkin, toasted pumpkin seeds
Waldorf Salad
apples, celery and raisins in romaine sheath with classic creamy dressing, cranberry coulis
~ Second
Roasted Portobello
minced oyster mushroom purée, parsnip mash, truffle-peppercorn cream, frisée salad
Twice Baked Potato
creamy potato and tempeh bacon filling with balsamic port wine reduction and vegan béarnaise

Thanksgiving Medley
mushroom phyllo pastry, roasted baby carrots and parsnips, crispy potatoes, sweet potato-pumpkin purée,
mushy peas, cranberry jus
Seitan Kiev
breaded seitan stuffed with garlic butter and tapioca cheese with brussels sprout, tempeh and parsnip cake,
mashed potatoes, red wine jus
Spaghetti Squash Alfredo with Soy Filet
sautéed shallots, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, & leeks with marinated artichoke, sweet corn and avocado garnish
